Man, this week has had some ups and downs.

Last Friday, at the Adrenaline Freaks trackday prior to the opening round of the WMRRA season, I spun a rod bearing and demolished the bottom end of my R6’s motor. Tearing it down in the new 28′ Performance Source trailer, I found out that I needed *everything*: new bearings, new pistons, new connecting rods and even a new crankshaft.

Chris Sarbora is a budding professional motorcycle roadracer based out of the Pacific Northwest. He competes in the WMRRA, OMRRA, USBA MoM, WERA West and WERA National Challenge series, and plans to make appearances on the WERA National Endurance and AMA Pro Racing Superbike circuits. 2009 will be his third year on the racetrack and his second in competition as an expert.
